Although the view on the mountain itself seems obstructed I can seen the sand raining from the clouds, which more than makes up. Never noticed this before in a picture, thanks for sharing.

One of my first attempts to make panoramic composites, and taken before I realized the benefits of RAW. This one suffers badly from overexposed sky, a pity as this was such a nice motive.

I was not really happy with my poor PS skills, so I tried some HDR processing this time. I tried to be as subtle as possible to avoid the boring HDR look - and I think it looks nicer than my other attempt.

I was trying to select the sky so the light there could be enhanced a bit, but I always ended up with some dark fringe on the boundary. I guess my PS skills aren't as good as I would like to think myself.

I added a tint of warming filter (81) to this one to increase the "sun just up" effect.

The white balance is not exactly as it should be, I forgot to fix that when I was processing the RAW file.

This was late in the day and the sun was low. I had to make two exposures from the RAW file to compensate for the low light, and then desaturated the colors and sharpened as much as I thought it would tolerate to get a kind of an "old retro" look.
